Students from across the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will have their work featured at The Art Supervisors Association of Nassau County All-County Art Exhibition on March 20, from noon to 4 p.m., in Roosevelt Hall at Farmingdale State College.

This exhibition, with no admission charge, will honor more than 1,200 kindergarten through 12th grade students who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics and photography.

Student entries are selected by art educators and are limited to a maximum of three pieces of artwork from each teacher. This year, more than 400 art educators from more than 200 schools in 50 Nassau County school districts submitted student artwork for this prestigious exhibit. Bellmore-Merrick is proud to announce that 46 students were selected to display their work at this year’s show.

In addition, two students will be honored as ASA scholarship recipients: Kaitlin Messmer (Sanford H. Calhoun High School) and Hannah Style (Wellington C. Mepham High School).
