The Breakfast Club from Calhoun High School visited the Jewel Quinn Senior Center in Merrick for their second time this year.

The students brought games such as Uno, Apples to Apples, Scrabble and playing cards. They chatted with the seniors and asked them questions while some colored in pictures to keep busy. The seniors even took line dancing lessons and the students joined them in the fun.

“They hope to return to the Senior Center many more times in the future to give more students in the club the opportunity to volunteer and interact with others,” said special education teacher Wendy Simson.
