On Friday, Feb. 3, the Central High School District will host its first district faculty variety show, “The Faculty Follies.”
This fundraising event will help raise money for the new Community Cupboard.

The evening will feature live performances by a wide range of staff members representing each of the six schools as well as central administration. Students from the district’s Ambassador Program will serve as the emcees for the show.

“This is another example of students and faculty coming together in the spirit of One Voice, One Message,” said Cheryl Fontana, director of the fine & performing arts. “The Student Ambassadors have done tremendous work building the Community Cupboard. This night of entertainment is the faculty’s way of helping to support their initiative.”

The show will be held at 7 p.m. in the Mepham High School auditorium, located at 2401 Camp Ave. in Bellmore. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in each school starting Monday, Jan. 30 as well as at the door.
