On Oct. 27, students from the Meadowbrook Alternative Program’s AP Euro and AP Literature classes went to the Met Cloisters at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to experience a taste of Medieval Europe firsthand.

The tour guide introduced students to the famous Unicorn Tapestries, the Gothic Chapel, the Herb Garden (where students were allowed to taste samples), and the various cloisters situated around the museum.

Staff members Tiffany Rzempoluch, Lisa Patwell and Laura Sheridan then sent them on a scavenger hunt to find and analyze certain objects of historical value, covering areas such as art, church life and education.
