On Thursday, January 31st the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will once again host its annual district faculty variety show, “The Faculty Follies.”  This night of entertainment is one of the district’s major fundraising events for the Community Cupboard.

The evening will feature live performances by a wide range of staff members representing each of the six schools as well as Central Administration.  Students from the District’s Ambassador Program will serve as the Emcees for the show.

“We are so excited that the Follies has become a true highlight event of the school year!  It is a wonderful example of teachers, administrators and students coming together in the spirit of One Voice, One Message.  The Student Ambassadors do tremendous work for our community; this night of entertainment is the staff’s way of helping to support their initiatives,” said Cheryl Fontana, Director of the Fine & Performing Arts.

The show will be held at 7:00pm in the Mepham High School auditorium.  Tickets are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults; they can purchased in each school starting Wednesday, 1/23 as well as at the door the night of the performance.
