Meadowbrook Alternative Program’s Key Club members, including Vice President Matthew Alexander, peddled tacos for a cause on Nov. 13.

The club’s Taco Tuesday fundraiser raised more than $100 in half an hour for the district’s food pantry, the Community Cupboard.
“The funds raised will be used to purchase 50 roasting pans for the Community Cupboards’ Thanksgiving baskets, which will be assembled on Nov. 15 with the assistance of students and staff districtwide,” explained MAP Key Club faculty adviser Catrina Christensen.

“Families in our area really need our help and it’s important for us to do what we can,” added MAP Key Club President Grace Kavanah.
