Athletic points are awarded to all students for intramural and interscholastic activities in the following manner:

*Eighth grade medals will only be awarded to students who did not receive a medal in seventh grade.

A medal must be won by a 7th grader in order to be eligible for a plaque as points carry over into 8th grade.

 

In order to receive 10 points of intramural credit, a student must attend at least 50% of the total participation time. The final decision as to who shall receive credit lies with the advisor of that intramural. Both 7th and 8th graders may participate.

AT THE END OF AN INTRAMURAL, A LIST OF PARTICIPANTS RECEIVING THE APPROPRIATE NUMBER OF POINTS WILL BE POSTED IN THE GYM AREA. STUDENTS HAVE TWO WEEKS FROM THE POSTED DATE TO VERIFY THEIR POINTS.

 

To receive 20 points, a student must complete the entire season and be present at all games or meets unless he or she has a legal excuse. The student must also attend all practice sessions as set forth by the coach. The final decision as to who shall receive credit lies with the coach of that sport.
