The Department of Languages Other Than English has the unique and important responsibility of teaching students to become active global citizens. Our teachers bring a wealth of personal experience and knowledge to their students, providing them with a well-rounded perspective of other languages and cultures.
The LOTE Department is dedicated to helping students acquire a second and possibly a third language, while also instilling in them an appreciation for other cultures. The department firmly believes that our 21st century learners must possess strong language skills and a well-developed understanding of other cultures to be successful participants in our increasingly closer global community.
