The school counselor helps students to look at themselves more realistically in terms of school programs and career planning. The counselor will assist each student to plan activities for researching his/her ultimate goal. Group and individual counseling sessions are held frequently to discuss many issues such as program planning at each grade level, individual problems that may affect a student's work and personal interests and goals.

Psychologist

The school psychologist provides individual testing, evaluation, and specialized counseling on problems relating to schoolwork. Referral to the school psychologist is made by counselors or may be requested by the parent or student.

 

Social Workers

The school social workers provide individual and group counseling and referrals to outside agencies for parents and students. School social workers receive referrals from the school counselors and psychologists, as well as self-referrals by students' parents.
