Peer Leaders
When students have a concern or problem, they usually turn to one of their peers and then perhaps to an adult.  Peers are able to share and identify with one another’s needs and issues in a special way.  When students have been specially trained in leadership skills, their ability to make a positive difference becomes very significant.  A peer leader has the opportunity to be a positive and supportive influence in the lives of many people.  More importantly, peer leaders learn about themselves and become more educated about the topic they are addressing through their interaction with other students
