As the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District begins to finalize its reopening plans for the 2020-21 school year, the guidelines and regulations provided by New York State, in conjunction with those of the Department of Education and Department of Health, have led to the difficult but necessary decision to cancel all Adult Education classes for the Fall 2020 semester.

“This is truly disappointing as our Adult Ed program is an integral part of the Bellmore-Merrick community. However, as always, the health & safety of our students, staff and community members will continue to be Bellmore-Merrick’s top priority,” said Ms. Cheryl Fontana, Director of the Fine & Performing Arts and Adult Education.  “Our hope is that we will be able to return for the spring semester in some capacity; we will certainly provide updates as we get closer to the next term.”
