Skylar Basco and Jordan Novak, students at Calhoun High School, are among 34?Long Island high school seniors named semifinalists in the 2020 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
Additionally, they are among the top 2% of students chosen nationwide. Students are evaluated based on leadership skills, academic achievements and community service.
This is an achievement-based award 150 finalists nationwide will receive $20,000 scholarships. Basco and Novak are awaiting notification for the next round.
