On Jan. 14, the students in Leadership III course at Kennedy High School presented their Cougar Talk program.

The 14 student presenters, who have been a part of the three-year School and Community Leadership program since sophomore year, presented memorized talks to an audience of family, friends, teaching, peers, and administrators.

“Over the course of the last two months, the students have been collaborating on this project - writing, editing, re-writing, memorizing and rehearsing their talks,” explained Brad Seidman, a social studies teacher who serves as the program instructor along with teacher Kristy Faulkner.

Their topics ranged from personal stories of adversity to reminders about the dangers of social media to their love of their messy bedroom. All of the students were fantastic - speaking confidently on the auditorium stage.

Student presenters included; Christopher Luisi, Liz Bohlert, Gabby Ostroff, Andis Azemi, Victoria DeLeo, Ruby Lapidus, Jayson Eisner, Lara Indich, Layla Schechner, Jake Tolipano, Kayla Stern, Isabella Mandel, Nikki Rosen, JT Berger, Sammi Einbinder and Kylie Matulich.
