Denise Schleith’s eighth-grade French class from Merrick Avenue Middle School revisited the food unit of the curriculum with a trip to A la Carte Cooking School in Lynbrook.
Students learned about French cuisine and different cooking techniques. They also worked in small groups to make a French meal, which included appetizers, entrée and dessert.
