On March 28, Mepham High School teacher Sarah Bender and social studies chairperson Robyn Einbinder accompanied AP Government & Politics students to Hofstra University to hear Presidential Scholars Ed Rollins and Howard Dean talk about the current state of politics.
Essay contest winners Theresa Hamm and Rebecca Scotto met with Rollins and Dean. Both girls wrote impressive essays in answer to the question, “How do President Trump’s formal and informal public communications affect his political leadership?”
