On Nov. 14, students from all four high schools in the district came together at Mepham High School for a Breakout EDU activity where they worked together to “breakout of their rooms.”
The School and Community Leadership students from Brian Joyce’s class at Calhoun, Kara McManus’ class at Kennedy, Zachary Gosse’s class at the Meadowbrook Alternative Program and Jacqueline Geller’s class at Mepham participated in the Breakout EDU platform which fosters critical thinking, collaboration, creative and communication.
All four groups of students joined together again on Nov. 21 at the Veterans Stand Down at the Freeport Armory, where they helped disabled veterans get goods and services they need.
