James Caracciolo, a senior at Calhoun High School, was recently selected as a 2018 Coca-Cola Scholars Program semifinalist.
Caracciolo was among nearly 2,000 students chosen nationwide in the program, which is based on leadership skills, academic achievements and community service.
Semifinalists will be reviewed in January and 250 will be named regional finalists and 150 will ultimately become Coca-Cola Scholars, receiving $20,000 scholarships.
