The Kennedy High School boy’s volleyball team captured the Class II Long Island Championship after an incredible 16-14 fifth set over Eastport-South Manor on Nov. 10.
They clinched the Nassau County title with a three-set sweep of Jericho High School on Nov. 7.
“This is the team’s fourth straight county title and their ninth in the past 11 years,” said Dennis Ringel, the team’s coach and a health teacher at the school.
The team will play for the Long Island Championship on Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood.
