For the third year in a row, the Merrick Avenue Middle School community is installing a Flag Field of Honor Nov. 2-Dec. 8 to recognize veterans and active military members.
The flag fundraiser will be held in conjunction with students and staff from Calhoun High School, and will benefit Honor Flight Long Island and the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
