Kennedy High School welcomed elementary-age students and their families for its annual Safe Halloween celebration, a community favorite that brought festive fun, creativity, and school spirit to life

Makayla Bowman, a Kennedy High School senior, has been named a semifinalist in the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.   

Brad Seidman, a 22-year educator at Kennedy High School, was among the 26 educators recognized as a 2025 Long Island School Hero honoree.

Kennedy High School celebrated its homecoming with several days of festivities, culminating in a commanding 34-0 football victory over Friends Academy-Roslyn on Sept. 20. 

One student in the High School District has been recognized as a National Merit Semifinalist, and nine additional students have been named Commended Students in the prestigious 2026 National Merit
