Memo for Open Enrollment

 

Open Enrollment is from November 1, 2024 through January 10, 2025. All changes will be effective January 1, 2025.

If you would like to make any changes to your current insurance please contact Renee Jones at rjones@bellmore-merrick.k12.ny.us for more information.

If you do not want to make any changes to your health insurance during Open Enrollment, you DO NOT need to do anything. Your current health insurance will remain unchanged.

BUYOUT/OPT OUT OF HEALTH INSURANCE

***IMPORTANT***
Please read below regarding new procedures for Open Enrollment:

If you are currently on the buyout for the 2024 calendar year and there is no change to your current buyout for the 2025 calendar year please click here: Opt-Out Form for 2025 NO CHANGE

 

There will be no physical form for you to complete. 

Everything will be done through the link above.

If you are currently on the buyout for the 2024 calendar year or enrolled in one of the District’s health insurance plans and wish to make a change please click here: Opt-Out Form for 2025 CHANGE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU MAKE A CHANGE DURING OPEN ENROLLMENT, YOUR INITIAL PAYROLL DEDUCTION MAY BE A LARGER DEDUCTION TO TAKE THE SUMMER MONTHS INTO ACCOUNT.
