BMCHSD Remote Learning
In the event of an extended school closure, we will continue to move our educational process forward through multiple instructional technology platforms.
Continue saving lessons and files to Google Drive or OneDrive. If you need assistance saving files, contact your building technology support professionals.
Communication and Remote Learning Tools:
The Campus Instruction Message Center feature will be used as the initial communication tool between teachers and families. After initial communication has been established, BMCHSD educators will be free to utilize platforms they feel will best meet the teaching and learning needs of their students during the period of an extended school closure (i.e. Google Classroom, Docs, Drive, Weebly Campus Pro, FlipGrid, SMART Learning Suite, Remind, Quizlet, Professional Learning Networks, etc.)
*Campus Instruction Message Center best practices: Create links within the body of the message to Google Drive files for student/family access. Provide your preferred email address within the body of message (bmchsd.org or k12.ny.us)
Video/Web Conferencing Tools:
*Google Hangouts Meet has been enabled for Teacher, Admin and Student use (remote CSE meetings, dept. & faculty meetings, teacher-student communication, etc.)
