Senior Experience
Attention Rising Seniors! Are you interested in gaining real world experience about a field of interest before you select a major for college? Would you like to figure out if the career you envision for yourself is truly your dream? Would you like an opportunity to explore a career while in high school? If so, you might want to consider enrolling in Senior Experience next year.
Senior Experience is a humanities-based program. Students will take English and Social Studies in tandem, co-taught by an English and Social Studies teacher (Ms. DiGennaro and Ms. Scherer). These courses fulfill your high school graduation requirements for both subjects. Students will be released each week to participate in a year-long out-of-school internship in an area of study. Students will gain an understanding of how a humanities curriculum connects to the professional workplace. Please see below for more information.
