    English Literature Page Collection of sites related to Literature written in English, arranged by period, genre and nationality. An excellent collection for research.

    EServer A comprehensive collection of online texts in the arts and humanities, online journals, lists, discussion groups, conferences and links to topics of interest. A top rated site.

    A Literary Index--Internet Resources in Literature  Provides both an overview and a review of the more  significant collections of Internet literary resources of interest to scholars, students, and lovers of literature.

    The New York Times Books  50,000 high-quality book reviews dating back to 1996.  Registration is required to use this site, but there is no charge.

    Online Literary Criticism Collection from the Intetnet Public Library. This Website contains links to 4346 critical and biographical websites about authors and their works that can be browsed by author, by title, or by nationality and literary period.

    On-Line Literary Resources A searchable collection of links to English and American literature sites. Limited to collections of information useful to academics.

    PAL: Perspectives in American Literature This research and reference guide to famous Amarican authors from all historical periods contains annotated links to notable Web sites, brief essays on major themes and issues, bibliographies and critical discussion questions.

    Romantic Chronology  Online chronology of historical events and lives of key figures of the Romantic Era.

    Science Fiction and Fantasy Homepage This site contains book reviews, and author interiews as well as links to a variety of web sites of interest to sci-fi, fantasy and horror readers.

    The Victorian Web Created as a resource for Victorian Literature at Brown University. Essays, excerpts from primary sources, timelines, bibliographies & images may be found on science, technology, literature, society, economics, visual arts, politics, religion, philosophy and "gender matters".

    The Victorian Women Writers Project Accurate transcriptions of literary works by British women writers of the late 19th century. This site is also valuable for its links to related Literary, Victorian and Women's sites

    Voices From the Gaps Information on women writers of color in the US, includes a sample of their works, biography, bibliography and links to related sites.
