Mepham Fundraises for Flag Field of Honor

Seniors in the Mepham High School Participation in Government classes will set up their 11th annual Flag Field of Honor this fall.
This year's proceeds will benefit the Senior Service Learning Project's partnership Ronald McDonald Houses. Ronald McDonald Houses around the world accommodate families with hospitalized children under 21 years of age who are being treated at nearby hospitals and medical facilities. These houses are located just minutes away from the special care hospitals that are required to help children get back to full health. Ronald McDonald Houses allow families to stay free of charge. They also provide families with home cooked meals.
Since its inception in 2009, the Mepham Senior Service Learning Project has raised over $815,000 for local and national charities through the generosity and support of our school community.
Those interested in honoring a family member or friend can complete the attached form and return it to Mepham High School Flag Field of Honor at 2401 Camp Ave., Bellmore, NY 11710 by Friday, Oct. 24.
American flag sponsors are $20 each or three flags for $50, while United States military branch or POW*MIA flag sponsors are $50 each. All sponsorships include a keepsake 3’x5’ flag that will be distributed to those who requested one in January 2026.
Flags will be flown Nov. 2-Dec. 8, 2025.
