Mepham High School students, staff, student-athletes, district teams, and members of the Bellmore and North Bellmore Fire Departments came together Thursday, Sept. 17.

Across the Central High School District, middle and high school communities came together to remember September 11, 2001, honor the lives lost, and recognize the courage and service that followed.

Five students in the Central High School District have been recognized as National Merit Semifinalists, and 14 additional individuals have been named Commended Students.

Calhoun High School will celebrate a milestone in its athletic history this fall with the induction of its inaugural class into the Calhoun Athletic Hall of Fame.
