Kennedy High School welcomed elementary-age students and their families for its annual Safe Halloween celebration, a community favorite that brought festive fun, creativity, and school spirit to life

The Central High School District’s Family Project club hosted its annual Halloween Dance on Oct. 28 at Merrick Avenue Middle School

Makayla Bowman, a Kennedy High School senior, has been named a semifinalist in the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.   

Schools throughout the Central High School District came together to celebrate Unity Day on Oct. 22, highlighting the district’s ongoing commitment to fostering kindness.

Brad Seidman, a 22-year educator at Kennedy High School, was among the 26 educators recognized as a 2025 Long Island School Hero honoree.
