Nine sophomore students represented Sanford H. Calhoun's Advanced Science Research (ASR) Program at Molloy University’s Kathy Belton Science Fair on March 18.

The Central High School District had four students in its Advanced Science Research Programs recognized as finalists in the recent Long Island Science and Engineering Fair.

Students from the Grand Avenue Middle School Science Research Program recently earned top honors at the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Challenge Science & Engineering Fair.  

The Grand Grizzlies Robotics Team from Grand Avenue Middle School earned a spot in the 2026 Southern New York VEX IQ State Championships, held March 15 at Adelphi University.
