Welcome to the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Online Registration Process.
All new and incoming public-school students, and incoming non-public school students requesting transportation or books who did not attend one of our feeder districts (Bellmore, Merrick, North Bellmore or North Merrick UFSDs) must register using our online student registration platform.
During the online registration process, you will be asked to upload clear copies of certain documents, including proof of residency. Please be prepared to provide the following information and documentation:
Parent Information
A copy of the parent/guardian's photo identification is required. You will need to provide contact phone numbers and email addresses.
In addition, a person other than a natural parent who is in a parental relation, must present proof of guardianship or custody.
Student Information
- A copy of the student’s original or certified birth certificate is required. You will also need to provide demographic information, health/medication information, the student's immunization record, NYS Health Appraisal Form, last report card and/or class schedule, academic records/transcripts from the previous school and the student's Individualized Education Plan/504 Plan/Special Accommodations (if applicable).
Household Information
You will be required to provide the following as proof of residency:
- If you own the home:
- Please supply a copy of the deed, mortgage statement or tax bill as proof of ownership. You must also provide two bills addressed in your name as proof of residency.
- If you are renting:
- You will be required to provide the completed Affidavit of Landlord – Form B with a copy of the deed, mortgage statement or tax bill provided to you by the legal owner of the property. You will also be required to upload a copy of your lease/rental agreement. If you do not have a formal lease, you will be required to upload the Affidavit of Owner for a Resident Without a Lease/Rental Agreement – Form D, completed by the legal owner of the property. In addition, two bills addressed in your name are required as proof of residency.
Note: If you have just moved into the home and cannot provide two bills as proof of residency, documentation establishing district residency must be provided to the Office of the Central Registrar within 30 days of starting the registration process.
Note: Children and youth in temporary housing can enroll in school without the documents normally needed to enroll. Children and youth are temporarily housed or homeless if they lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence.
