World Languages INSPIRE: Input is always comprehensible. Navigate with vocabulary. Students self-select language based on their linguistic needs & interests. Proficiency is the goal. Instructors are risk-takers too. Risk-taking is nurtured and supported. Errors are a positive step in language learning.
The Department of World Languages offers French, Italian, Mandarin and Spanish. Our teachers bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their students, providing them with a well-rounded perspective of other languages and cultures.
The World Languages Department is dedicated to helping students acquire another language, while also instilling in them an appreciation for other cultures. The department firmly believes that our 21st century learners must possess strong language skills and a well-developed understanding of other cultures to be successful participants in our global community.
