The blossoming partnership with De La Mer provides opportunities to students. Salon professionals meet with our students during the school year providing classes and workshops.

On Dec. 1, the owner of De La Mer, Esther DiDonna, is hosting an Oribe-master styling class with Mandee Tauber, a highly touted international hair artist and stylist for Oribe. Students participated in a two-hour theory class with master hairstylists before attending the demo and hands on portion. They executed a beautiful updo that originated inItaly and were able to share this knowledge with the class.

On Tuesday, Dec. 19, seniors visited the Grandell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and offered manicures and hair tinsel to over 25 residents. The students brought so much joy and holiday cheer. They have been asked to return and visit on a regular basis.

Thursday, Dec. 21, they held a winter show case to invite underclassmen into Salon Belle Mer for beauty services and information about studying cosmetology. Over 40 clients left the salon feeling beautiful just in time for the holidays.
