MAMS Athletics
At Merrick Avenue Middle School, our athletic program offers a wide variety of intramural and interscholastic opportunities for the entire student body. Our intramural program runs primarily during the winter months, and we traditionally offer snow flake football, basketball, lacrosse, and various fitness activities. The intramural programs are open to all students and are announced throughout the year during homeroom and in physical education classes.
The interscholastic athletic program is comprised of four athletic seasons, and the following sports are offered:

"Your child's success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of parent you are. But, having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and tries their best IS a direct reflection of your parenting."
