Kennedy Sophomore Wins Bellmore-Merrick's STEAM Logo Design Competition

The Central High School District is proud to announce that Dylan Siegel, a current sophomore at Kennedy High School, has won the district-wide STEAM Logo Design Competition.
Last school year, students in grades 7-12 were invited to create a graphic that best represented the district's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) initiatives. In total, 44 designs were submitted by students across the district's middle and high schools.
The competition was overseen by STEAM Chairpersons Dr. Danielle Caliendo and Roger Bing, who reviewed submissions for creativity, originality, and how well each design captured the spirit of STEAM learning in Bellmore-Merrick.
Siegel’s winning design will now serve as the official logo representing the district's STEAM initiatives moving forward.
