Mepham Hosts Trunk-or-Treat Fundraiser for Community Cupboard

Mepham High School was filled with Halloween spirit on Oct. 29 as Student Government hosted a festive trunk-or-treat for local families with young children.

Families kicked off the fun by visiting creatively decorated car trunks outside the school before heading indoors to explore tables hosted by Mepham’s many clubs and organizations. The Bellmore-Merrick Broadcasting program was also on hand to capture all the festivities.

A special thank-you to Jacqueline Geller, Student Government faculty advisor, for helping bring this community event to life, and to all the student clubs and organizations who helped make it such a success.

Even sweeter, the donation collected at the door benefits the district’s Community Cupboard, housed at our Brookside Administrative Building. The Community Cupboard helps provide food and essential items to local families in need on a bi-weekly basis.
