Eight Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District students were honored with the Students Building Bridges Award. 

Temidire Oladeji, Hailey Arnell, Ariel Boodhram, Halen Songco, and Samantha DiFranco of Mepham High School and, Jordana Wohlleben Cari Einbinder, and Morgan Bronfeld of Kennedy High School School received this recognition on May 15 at the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island’s Nassau County Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration for their work in fostering inclusive, compassionate, and civically engaged communities.  

The students were selected for their leadership, dedication to service, and efforts to promote understanding among diverse groups.
