The Merrick Avenue Middle School Math Team represented Bellmore-Merrick at the Math Olympiad Tournament held at Kellenberg Memorial High School. 

Competing against 30 public and private middle schools from across Long Island, Nolan Auyeung, Ethan Cohen, Lucas DeMatteo, Jaydon Tabakhov, and Isaac Tetenbaum earned a second-place finish in the team competition. 

Furmaan Khan, John McGuire, Nicholas Porcaro, Mitchell Sapir, and Terrance Xian also demonstrated strong problem-solving skills while showcasing their Merrick Avenue pride throughout the event.
