Kennedy Students Honored with 2026 Suffolk Y JCC High School Jewish Athletes Awards

Three student-athletes from Kennedy High School have been selected as 2026 Suffolk Y JCC High School Jewish Athletes Award Honorees. Juniors Ryan Yormack and Derek Yormack, along with senior Jordana Wohlleben, were recognized for their achievements in athletics, leadership, character, and service to their school and community.
The recognition is part of the Second Annual High School Jewish Athletes Award Ceremony, held in conjunction with the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The event celebrates outstanding Jewish student-athletes from across Long Island and serves as a meaningful highlight of Jewish American Heritage Month.
The Yormack twins and Wohlleben were selected for exemplifying excellence both on and off the field. Their dedication to athletics, academics, leadership, and community involvement helped distinguish them among nominees from throughout the region.
The students will be honored during the awards ceremony on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Suffolk Y JCC.
