Students at Merrick Avenue Middle School attended a Wellness Center event on March 4 to create care boxes that will be available for students to pick up during the school day.
The packages include a key word on the top and an affirmation and positive message inside.
“Students participating in this activity talked about what their hope was for each box and stated that students who might need a little extra positivity that day might benefit from their efforts,” explained Principal Katelyn Dunn.
