Students in Jacqueline Ram’s seventh grade English as a New Language class at Grand Avenue Middle School discussed fall traditions in a lesson that incorporated hands-on activities as well as literacy skills.
Students had the opportunity to engage in a step-by-step process decorating pumpkins while expressing themselves artistically and linguistically.
“Students have adjusted so well to the school year that Ms. Ram decided to reward them with this engaging and fun activity,” explained Principal Carlo Conte.
