Seventh grade coding classes at Grand Avenue Middle School created their own video games using Hatch and Python programming languages through the district’s kidOYO platform.
“The event this past week showcased the students creative work in designing multi-level vintage arcade games, quiz games and other coding challenges of amazing complexity,” explained Michelle Biancardo, technology teacher. “Students were invited to sign up for a library lunch pass to attend the two-day event. Once there, they played games created by their peers.”
